The EXTREME meets the Australian Standard AS2149 (latest edition) and has endured the rigorous SAE vibration test cycle repeated more than 10 times. In field tests after traveling more than 100,000km installed in large trucks, these batteries remained in brand new condition.

Reinforced Grids - Special heavy duty grids with reinforced cross members are used to provide extreme structural strength and durability.

Thick Plates - Thick plate material is used to provide plenty of power plus the capacity to withstand repeated discharge.

Glass Mats - Enveloped separators are reinforced with glass mat. This dampens vibration, preventing active material from shedding & shorting.

No-Vibe? Bonded - Two strips of No-Vibe? bonding are used to further resist any plate vibration.

Flame Proof Vents - The vent caps used on this battery are specially designed to prevent the possibility of explosion due to hydrogen gas being released during deep and rapid cycling. This is particularly important when using the battery in marine applications.
