Bob & Lorna’s early start in batteries was at the hard end of the industry, buying scrap batteries and reconditioning these batteries to sell to Car Yards and local users. This taught Bob a tremendous amount about batteries and this strong grounding in the industry has enabled Battery Traders to grow into one of the largest retail battery outlets in Australia.
In 1991 we set about marketing our business as a "one stop battery shop" with "everything in batteries". Both of these slogans have become our unique selling positions over these years.
